January 2017 Functional Forum Meetup Evolution of Oncology
The Evolution of Medicine is thrilled to announce a new theme for our Functional Forums in 2017. Each monthly episode will focus on a different medical specialty and connect the value of a functional medicine approach to its evolution. This comes at a time where use of specialists is becoming an ever more costly drag on medical systems worldwide.
Each Forum will provide practitioners from all walks of medicine, not only Primary Care and Family Medicine, but all the integrative professions, with the clinical keys and practical emerging models to deliver truly effective predictive, preventive and participatory medicine.
With our unprecedented global meetup infrastructure, we will also seek to create new relationships locally between current specialists and with integrative providers in order to stimulate the creation of the specialty centers of the future.
For our first 2017 episode, we’ll be revisiting one of our most popular topics – cancer. In this episode, Evolution of Oncology, we will discuss innovative ways to prevent cancer and encourage rapid remission. Keynoting this first event will be renowned integrative Oncologist Dwight McKee, MD as he shares his perspectives on the foundations for an evolved approach to cancer, bringing together modern oncology and integrative modalities.
Joining Dr. McKee is Dr. Nalini Chilkov, a leading authority and pioneer in the field of integrative cancer care, cancer prevention, and immune enhancement. She’ll be sharing a remarkable case study and speaking to the importance of a personalized approach to health creation in cancer patients.
We will also have a recap of the recent PLMI conference featuring Father of Functional Medicine, Dr. Jeffrey Bland and joining us on the panel are Holistic Nutrition Lab founder, Andrea Nakayama and Evolution of Medicine Co-Founder, Gabe Hoffman.
